Why join

Freemasonry is an organisation with charitable support and self-improvement at its core.  It requires that you hold yourself to a high moral standard and that you look to improve yourself where you can.  All members are asked to support three main pillars: Brotherly love, Relief and Truth.

Freemasonry is open to all no matter their race, religion, political persuasion.  If you feel that this would be an ideal organisation for you to join, then please get in touch.

How to join

If you are already a mason and would like to join a thriving happy lodge then we would be delighted to talk to you. Please contact our Membership Secretary through the link on the contact page and we will get in touch with you.

If you are new to Freemasonry please see below for further information.

How do you become a member?

Initially complete the contact form and a member of our team will get in touch with you and provide you with some initial information. You do not need to know a member, but clearly if you do, ask them what it is all about!

Alternatively:

You can contact the United Grand Lodge of England (“UGLE”) who will also be pleased to hear from you and provide you with the necessary information.

The joining process is the same for all members so either approach is acceptable.

Costs

It is prudent here to advise potential new members, that there are, like all such organisations, costs of membership. This includes annual subscriptions, charitable contributions and meals.  All costs will be discussed with you at the time of applying.
